15.5 Turn the balance knob
15.6 Press and release switch (4).
15.7 If the calibration is successful, the display will now show 00.
15.8 If unsuccessful, Er will be displayed. Pressing the switch
allow the system to revert to its previous settings. Calibration may now be carried out again.
15.9 After calibration, rebalance the head.
Converting the base
16 Spares kits are available to convert the head from ball base to flat base versions and vice versa.
17 Kit 3525-900SP comprises a ball base, bowl clamp and fixing hardware; while kit
base, mounting bolts, and washers, a spanner and fixing hardware.
18 To change the base
18.1 Remove the camera from the head.
18.2 On the base, remove four screws
18.3 Position the replacement base on the head and secure with four screws (2), using Loctite 222E.
(2) fully counter-clockwise to its minimum stop.
