Let's say you've written an important note, but your elbow grazes the interactive whiteboard as you
turn towards your audience: the note disappears. Just press the Redo button and your note
reappears. If you haven't activated the Floating Tools, don't worry. Press the SMART Board icon,
select Floating Tools, and then press the Redo button. The last cleared group of notes—in this
case, the note you accidentally lost—reappears.
LinQ Software
Using LinQ software, you can breeze into your next meeting and link your laptop to a SMART
interactive product without connecting cables or configuring hardware. After you establish the
connection, use LinQ software to show your laptop's video output on the interactive screen.
After this minimal setup, you can begin your presentation from your seat or the interactive product.
Because you navigate through your own computer, you can find files and run a presentation
without having to familiarize yourself with a different computer. And because you can take
advantage of the 2000i's interactive tools, you can deliver a dynamic, interactive presentation.
To establish a communication link between the 2000i and the laptop, you must:
install and run LinQ software on your laptop computer
be connected to the same network as the 2000i's resident computer
run the mobile device manager software on the 2000i's resident computer
For more information on LinQ software and the mobile device manager, see www.smarttech.com/
