Repeat steps 3 through 6 above for the other computer being
used in the Advanced Diagnostics test and return here.

Select the Set up as master station option.

Type the number of times you want the data packet sent.
Press Enter to begin the test.

Upon compl.etion of the test, the master station will display
Network Test Passed.

Press the Escape key to continue.
The Advanced Diagnostics data transfer test is now complete.
You may repeat the test by repeating steps 9 through 10.
To use the network monitor utility,

Ensure your IBM LAN Adapter for Ethernet is properly
installed, configured, and connected to your network.

Place the option diskette in the A: drive of one of the
computers being used for the test.

If the computer is off, turn it on.
If the computer is on, type CONFIG from the A:> DOS prompt.

Select the Diagnostics option from the Main Menu of the
configuration program.

Run the Initialization and Diagnostics test as described in
"Running Adapter Diagnostics" on page 25. Make sure that
all tests return the message OK.
