Descriptions of LEOs
There are two LED lights found on the end of each adapter under
the cable connection. These LEOs can be useful when trying to
isolate problems with the adapter or the network.
LEOs on the LAN Adapter for Ethernet:
green LED
When this light is on, the Twisted Pair Segment
is enabled, Link Test is enabled, and Link
Integrity is GOOD; or the Twisted Pair Segment is
enabled and the Link Test is disabled. When this
light is off, the AUI Segment is enabled or the
Twisted Pair Segment is enabled, Link Test
enabled, and the Link Integrity is BAD.
yellow LED
When this light is on, there is traffic moving over
the network.
LEOs on the LAN Adapter for Ethernet TP:
green LED
When this light is on, the link to the network is
good.
yellow LED When this light is on, there is traffic moving over
the network.
LEOs on the LAN Adapter for Ethernet
ex:
green LED
When this LED light is on, there is traffic moving
over the network.
yellow LED When this LED light is on, there are packet
collisions on the network.
Under normal conditions, this light will be
blinking. If the light is steadily shining, check the
adapter or the network for problems.
Problem Solving

Go to the Main Menu of the configuration/diagnostics
program.
If the action you perform calls for a change to any of the
configuration parameters, continue with the next step.
