Select Return to previous menu from this window
and Return to previous menu from the next
window to get back to the MAIN MENU.
Note: The POST/RiPL function will not be enabled
until after you perform a "cold boot" (A cold boot
is done by turning the power off to your computer,
waiting 3 to 5 seconds, then turning the power
back on.) The POST/RiPL function does not need
to be enabled to perform the following steps.

Continue with "Running Adapter Diagnostics" on
page 25.
Note: When you select the option to save the
configuration, all configuration parameters are
automatically saved to the adapter's memory and
copied into a text file, CONFIG.TXT, on the option
diskette. In cases where the Option Diskette is
write protected, all configuration parameters will
still be saved to the adapter's memory.

Configure New Adapter Manually
Select this option if you wish to manually set any
parameter instead of having the parameters set
automatically.
Refer to the list of parameters shown in the chart on
page Figure 1 on page 20 for a description of each
parameter.

From the MAIN MENU, select Configure New
Adapter and press Enter.

From the CONFIGURE NEW ADAPTER window,
select Configure New Adapter Manually and press
Enter.

From the CONFIGURE NEW ADAPTER MANUALLY
window, select the desired parameter value for
each of the options shown in this window.
