Chapter 6. Establishing and Configuring the Wi-Fi Connection

6.1. Overview of Connecting the N13103 to a Wireless Network

To make the N13103 IP camera work together with your computer, your laptop, and other
devices in your wireless network, you need to connect this camera to the network according to the
wireless network parameters. To do so, you can use either of the following methods:
 Using WPS, which allows you to automatically set up a secure wireless connection.

To use WPS, go to the camera's web interface and enable the WPS option at SETTING – Network –
WPS (for details, see

To configure the camera through WPS, the router that you are using for the Wi-Fi connection must support
WPS.
 Without using WPS. To do so, you need to define the Wi-FI settings through your
router's settings page (for more information, refer to your router's manual) or through
other devices connected to the router (for example, a laptop).

6.2. Connecting to a Wireless Network Using WPS

To connect to a wireless network using WPS, you can use either of the following methods:
 Through the web interfaces, configure both your camera and your router that you are
using for the connection.
 Pressing the WPS button on both devices, so there is no need to configure them through
their web interfaces.
Both of these methods are discussed later in this manual.
6.2.1. Connecting to a Wireless Network by Configuring the Camera through the Web
