1 1. Remove and re-install the Duplex Unit.
2. Enter Service Diagnostics, and from the
Engine Test Print
and set to ON.
3. From the
Print Test
Does the error occur when Test Printing
Duplex?
2 Check the 150-Sheet Feeder for proper
installation.
Is the feeder installed correctly?
3 1. Remove the Duplex Unit Left Cover
(page 8-117).
2. Manually rotate the gears.
Do the Duplex Unit Roller and all Gears
rotate smoothly?
4 1. Open the Duplex Unit Housing Cover
and insert paper, and then close it.
2. Manually rotate the upper Roller Gear
clockwise and check paper transfer.
Is the paper transferred smoothly?
