You have probably noticed by now that all of the
letters displayed on your screen are capital/or
uppercase) letters. The computer automatically
reads capital letters until instructed to do other-
wise. This is because if you were writing a com-
puter program, some of the commands would
have to be in capital letters, and the computer
doesn't want to give you a chance to make a
mistake by using lowercase (or small) letters in-
stead.
