To insert the
diskette,
hold it by its labeled edge
and insert it label side facing up, bottom end fac-
ing away from you. Be sure to close the drive
door after inserting the
diskette.
STEPS
Turn on your computer. You will hear a beeping
noise as the computer loads the program into its
memory Once the program is loaded, the first
screen of the program will appear. Refer to your
software documentation to learn how to use
your
program.
If your program does not load properly, try the
procedure
again.
If it still does not work, refer to
the software documentation or see your com-
puter dealer to be sure that the program is not
faulty
SOFTWARE CARE
To keep your programs running properly, it is im-
portant that you handle your software with
care.
Cassettes and diskettes can be easily
dam-
aged. Keep all of your software in a safe place,
preferably a storage unit designed especially for
them. Diskettes come with protective paper en-
velopes.
Whenever a diskette is not being used,
be sure to keep it in its envelope to protect it
from dust, spills, and scratches.
Keep your software away from magnets and
strong magnetic fields such as those generated
by hi-fi speakers and video tape
recorders.
