quality is good for the price. The print speed of
the 1027 is comparatively slow, though, printing
only 20 characters per second. In addition, as it
is a new model, the reliability of this printer
is not yet proven.
Atari also offers the Model 1020, which is unique
from the other printers already mentioned. This
printer actually holds four ballpoint pens at one
time, and can be used for drawing graphs and
other shapes. Because the 1020 uses paper that
is only four inches wide, the uses of this printer
are limited.
Printers produced by manufacturers other than
Atari include the Epson MX and FX lines, the
Centronics 739, the NEC 8023, and the C. Itoh
