By default, the MX7 touchscreen is enabled. To disable the touchscreen after a warmboot, click this checkbox.

Touch Screen Heater Disable

The touchscreen heater is present on the Cold Storage MX7.
The touch screen heater disable option is only available on earlier MX7 models. This information is placed here for backward
compatibility.
MX7 heating elements activate when ambient temperature drops below 0°C (32°F). When performing screen touch functions at
these temperatures, it is recommended to use the stylus.. There may be some condensation as the MX7 moves in and out of
cold storage areas. The condensation on the touchscreen and the scan aperture quickly dissipates.
The touchscreen heating elements and scanner aperture heating elements may be visible when the MX7 is tilted slightly. No
user interaction is required to turn the heating elements on/off. Stylus taps on the touchscreen function normally.
By default, the touchscreen heater is enabled. To disable the touchscreen heater, click this checkbox. If the MX7 does not
have a touchscreen heater, this checkbox is dimmed.
