mechanism and remove a child
restraint system, unlatch the buckle,
unroute the seat belt, and let the belt
fully retract.

System Installation Tips
For proper protection, an infant must
ride in a reclined, or semi-reclined
position. To determine the proper
reclining angle, check with the baby's
doctor or follow the child restraint
system maker's recommendations.
To achieve the desired reclining
angle, it may help to put a rolled up
towel under the toe of the restraint
as shown.
Additional Precaution for Infants
''Never let children kneel on seats or
stand while the car is in motion. The
violent forces created during
emergency braking will cause the
children to be thrown forward. The
children could be seriously injured or
killed.''
