If the transmission temperature is
below
10 °C (14 °F), you may not
be able to use the Sequential
SportShift mode.

for upshifting and downshifting.

Automatic Transmission
If the automatic transmission fluid
Speed range
temperature increases and exceeds
the specified limit, the transmission
under 50 km/h
will also automatically downshift to
(31 mph)
the first gear. This prevents the
automatic transmission from
under 100 km/h
overheating. In this case, the gear
(63 mph)
position ''1'' next to the ''M'' indicator
in the instrument panel blinks for
under 150 km/h
about five seconds, then it stays on.
(94 mph)
Starting in Second Gear
under 210 km/h
When you are in Sequential
(131 mph)
Sportshift Mode, and the car is
stopped, push forward on the shift
lever to shift to second gear. You will
see ''2'' in the display. Starting out in
second gear will help to reduce
wheelspin in deep snow or on a
slippery surface.
