Dust and Pollen Filter (For some types)
The dust and pollen filter removes
pollen and dust that is brought in
from the outside through the heating
and cooling system/climate control
system.
This filter should be replaced during
scheduled maintenance. On
Australia model, refer to the Owner's
Warranty and Service Manual, on
New Zealand model, refer to the
Service Maintenance and Warranty
Book, on EU models, refer to the
maintenance schedule in the Service
Book that came with your car. On
other models, see the maintenance
schedules in this owner's manual.
The dust and pollen filter should be
replaced at short intervals if you
drive primarily in urban areas that
have high concentrations of soot in
the air from industry and diesel-
powered vehicles. Replace it more
often if air flow from the heating and
cooling system/climate control

To replace it:
1. Open the glove box.

each side panel, then pivot the
glove box out of the way.
