Coverstitch Option (Stitch #22)

• Convert the serger from overlock to coverstitch following the instructions in the Owner's manual.
• Thread the serger for a wide 3-thread coverstitch.
• Adjust as indicated on the LCD screen. Fine tune as needed.
• Wrap binding around one 6" edge of the quilted fabric; use 505 spray adhesive to hold it in place.
• Place fabric under the needles, aligning the unstitched edge of the binding even with the inside
left floating toe of the presser foot. The quilted fabric will lay to the left.
• Coverstitch the binding to the quilted fabric.
• Trim and mount the sample.

Chain Stitch Option (Stitch #16)

• Thread the serger for a chain stitch.
• Adjust as indicated on the LCD screen. Fine tune as needed.
• Wrap binding around the opposite 6" edge of the fabric; use 505 spray adhesive to hold it in place.
• Place fabric under the needle, aligning the unstitched edge of the binding even with the inside
right floating toe of the presser foot. The quilted fabric will lay to the right.
• Chain stitch the binding to the quilted fabric.
• Trim and mount the sample.
