• Owner's manual pg.___
• Convert the serger from overlock to coverstitch following the instructions in the Owner's manual.
• Insert the left and right needles.
• Thread the serger for a narrow 3-thread coverstitch.
• Adjust as indicated on the LCD screen. Fine tune as needed.
• Stabilize the fabric and lace using spray starch or sizing.
• Position lace on right side of fabric, aligning scalloped lace edge with right edge of fabric.
• Place fabric and lace under the needles, aligning the lace header with the inside left floating toe of
the presser foot.
• Coverstitch the lace to the fabric.
• Turn the handwheel toward you to bring the needle to the lowest position; turn the handwheel
away from you to raise the needle to the highest position.
• Lift the presser foot and remove the fabric.
• Trim the fabric from beneath the lace and mount the sample.
