• Owner's manual pg.___
• Convert the serger from overlock to coverstitch following the instructions in the Owner's manual.
• Insert the right needle.
• Thread the serger for a chain stitch.
• Adjust as indicated on the LCD screen. Fine tune as needed.
• Set stitch length at 3mm.
• With right sides together, place fabric under the needle, aligning the edge of the fabric with the

" mark on the cover/chain stitch extension plate.

• Chain stitch the fabrics together, stitching off the end of the fabric.
• Following the directions on page ___ of the Owner's manual, remove the chain stitch.
• Lift the presser foot and insert the fabric; chain stitch the seam a second time.
• Following the directions on page ___ of the Owner's manual, secure the thread.
• Trim and mount the sample.
