• Convert the serger from overlock to coverstitch following the instructions in the Owner's manual.
• Thread the serger for a 4-thread coverstitch.
• Adjust as indicated on the LCD screen. Fine tune as needed.
• Fold the fabric lengthwise to form a ½" tuck down the center.
• Place the fabric under the needles with the bulk of the fold on the left. Align the edge of the fold
with the inside of the right floating toe of the foot.
• Coverstitch the tuck in place; turn the handwheel toward you to bring the needle to the lowest
position.
• Turn the handwheel away from you to raise the needle to the highest position.
• Lift the presser foot and remove the fabric.
• Trim and mount the sample.
