Troubleshooting Touchscreen Problems

If you are experiencing trouble with your touchscreen monitor, refer to the following table. If
the problem persists, you can find additional troubleshooting tips and product support from
the touchscreen manufacturer.
Problem
The monitor does not respond after
you turn on the system.
Characters on the screen are dim
The screen is blank
OSD or power buttons don't work
Touch functions do not work
Monitor is stuck in Self Test mode
Hog 2PC screens are not properly
centered or missing
A 3rd monitor is connected but not
functioning
Some screens are missing from
Hog 3PC or Hog 2PC on the
standard two monitors.

• Check that the monitor's Power Switch is on.
• Turn off the power and check the monitor's power cord and signal
cable for proper connection.
• Refer to the Monitor Control Buttons on page 28 to adjust the
brightness.
• Refer to the Monitor Control Buttons on page 28 to adjust the
brightness.
• Check to see that they are not locked out.
• Make sure USB cable is securely attached at both ends.
• Press the "Detect Touchscreens" button in the Hog iPC
Configuration Panel.
• Unplug and reconnect the monitor, or unlock the power button and
cycle the power to the monitor.
• Reset the screen positions in the Configuration Panel, see
Changing Window Positions on page 53.
• Check that the 3rd monitor is properly attached and turned on.
• Enable the 3rd monitor in the Hog iPC Configuration Panel and
select a resolution.
• Lower the resolution of the 3rd monitor.
• Disable the 3rd monitor in the Hog iPC Configuration Panel and
enable the Default Positions option to restore the windows to
their default positions.
