Calibrating Touchscreens

To calibrate a touchscreen, first
select a device from the
selection box. Press the
Calibrate Touchscreen button.
A white screen with directions to
touch a cross at each corner of the screen will appear. After the first touchscreen calibration is
completed the calibration screen will close. The calibration will terminate if no touch is
received on the screen within 10 seconds. You can also right click on a device in the selection
box and select Calibrate to begin the calibration routine.
The touchscreen device selection box contains a field called Label you may click in this cell
and enter a description of the monitor if desired. For example after calibrating and discovering
which device mapped to the left monitor, you may want to enter Left monitor in this field for
future reference. The default monitors shipped from the factory with the console are pre-
labeled accordingly.
Note: This is the only calibration routine intended for use with the Hog iPC
touchscreens. Other Touchscreen Calibration commands within the
Hog 2PC application do not function with the Hog iPC console's
touchscreens.

Swapping Touchscreens

The Swap Touchscreens option
lets you switch the touch
response to the another
touchscreen. When you press
Swap Touchscreens button a
dialog box will appear listing the
attached touchscreen devices.
The first two devices listed are
the Hog iPC console touch-
screens. The third device is an
optional monitor. Select whichever two you wish to swap and press OK.

Detecting Touchscreens

In the event of replacing a touchscreen or adding a new touchscreen, the device will need to
be detected. Press the Detect Touchscreens button to detect any new touchscreen devices.
Any newly detected devices will need to be calibrated (and optionally labeled) in the above
manner.
