PANEL DESCRIPTION
o MULTI-CONNECTOR
Connect an optional equipment.
!0 BUSY/TRANSMIT INDICATOR
➥ Lights green while receiving a signal, or when the
squelch is open.
➥ Lights red while transmitting.
!1 VOLUME CONTROL [VOL]
➥ Rotate to turn the power ON or OFF.
➥ Rotate to adjust the audio output level.

q SIGNAL STRENGTH ICON
Shows relative receive signal strength level.
w LOW POWER ICON
Appears when low output power is selected.
e AUDIBLE ICON
➥ Appears when the channel is in the 'Audible' (unmute)
mode.
➥ Appears when a matching signal is received.
r COMPANDER ICON
➥ Appears when the Compander function is activated. In
this case, the compander icon does not show the GPS
signal acquiring status.
➥ Appears when the GPS receiver acquires the GPS sig-
nal from a satellite. In this case, the compander icon
does not show the Compander function's status.
