19 Attach the power cord on the fan controller to the receptacle on the fireplace (see Figure 23
below). Attach the connector labeled "FAN CONTOL" to the fan controller (see
20 Before installing the fan controller, make sure the power switch is on ( "-" SYMBOL - see Figure
25). Slide the fan controller into place (see Figure 26). Tuck the power cord behind the controller
so it rests below and to the side of the firebox – make sure the power cord or wiring do not
contact the firebox or blower.
HINT: We have found that if you "Z-BEND" the power cord and tuck it behind the power inlet, it
will then fit into place. Make sure the power cord is not directly over the front of the controller –
the receiver must fit in this location.
