Using the Reset Switch
If you forget the switch login password, use the Reset switch to reset the login password 
to the default password, as described in the following procedure.

Possible Cause
Loop condition detected.
Clear NVRAM was set using
CLI commands.

Recommended Action
Verify that Spanning Tree is enabled. Refer to the
SecureStack C3 Configuration Guide for the instructions to
set the type of STA.
Review the network design and delete unnecessary loops.
If the problem continues, contact Enterasys Networks for
technical support.
Reenter the lost parameters as necessary. Refer to the
SecureStack C3 Configuration Guide for the instructions to
configure the switch using CLI commands.
If the problem continues, contact Enterasys Networks for
technical support.
