2. Opening the battery compartment
Hold your phone in you palm with the keypad facing down. With your other
hand, place your thumb on the speaker (2) and press your index finger into
the recess (1) at the top of the handset. Lift the cover up.
3. Inserting the battery pack
Insert the battery pack nose first and at an angle (3). Then press it down
into the compartment until the battery pack's positioning clip firmly snaps
into place (4).
Note:
To remove the battery pack, you must first press the lateral posi-
tioning clip.
4. Closing the battery compartment
Position the battery cover over the compartment's catches so that they can
snap into place (5). Then press the battery cover down until it snaps into
place (6).
