CHANGING THE COOLANT
7. Check:
S copper washer 1
S coolant drain bolt 2
Damage ! Replace.
8. Install:
S coolant drain bolt
9. Connect:
S coolant reservoir hose
10. Fill:
S cooling system
(with the specified amount of the recom-
mended coolant)
Recommended antifreeze
High-quality ethylene glycol anti
freeze containing corrosion inhibi
tors for aluminum engines
Mix ratio
50% antifreeze/50% water
Quantity
Handling notes for coolant
Coolant is potentially harmful and should be
handled with special care.
WARNING
S If coolant splashes in your eyes, thorough-
ly wash them with water and consult a doc-
tor.
S If coolant splashes on your clothes, quick-
ly wash it away with water and then with
soap and water.
S If coolant is swallowed, induce vomiting
and get immediate medical attention.
