Use the following procedures to remove jammed print paper.

If print paper becomes jammed, then the machine beeps, the touch panel displays a
●
message "Misfeed detected. Remove paper from part indicated by the circle.", and indi-
cates which cover needs to be opened.
Open the cover indicated by an arrow, and remove the jammed paper.
Confirm how to install the print paper, storage conditions, and the print paper size, etc.

Print paper may jam if the paper size is not set correctly.
Avoid removing the imaging unit if possible. A toner spill may occur.

Care should be taken if the imaging unit needs to be withdrawn in order to remove
●
jammed paper. Toner may ruin the working surface or your clothes.

appropriate page indicated for instructions on removing the jammed paper.
