Chapter 1: General information

1.3 Setup principles

A newly-installed ST70+ system must be commissioned as described in Chapter 2:,
Commissioning Procedures, before being used for operational purposes.

First use after installation

The first part of the commissioning procedure is initial setup (summarized in
Figure 1-1). This starts automatically on when a display is first switched on after
installation.

Save and exit setup wizard
If the display function has changed (i.e. from
Instrument to Pilot Controller or vice versa), the
display reboots
at this point.
If the display is set up as an Instrument, an
operating page is displayed.
If the display is set up as a Pilot Controller, and the
autopilot has NOT been commissioned, the
commissioning process starts automatically. Refer
to Chapter 2.
