    Chapter 2: Commissioning Procedures Chapter 2: Commissioning Procedures Before an ST70 instrument is used for the first time, it must be commissioned in accordance with the instructions in this chapter, to carry out: • Dockside setup followed by • Seatrial calibration.

If an incorrect offset value is applied, this could result in misleading depth information being displayed with a consequent risk of running aground.
