5. Go to Printer Specific Options and specify the appropriate settings for your print job.
Choose Printer Specific Options
from the pop-up menu
6. If you want to make the new settings the default settings, click Save Settings.
7. Click Print.
These print options are specific to the GA-1040 and the copier (you may need to scroll
to see all the options). They override settings in GA-1040 Printer Setup, but can be
overridden from the queue's window using the job's Override Print Settings dialog box.
For information about these options and overrides, see Appendix A.
Some PPD options can also be set from an application (for example, Reverse
N :
OTE
Order printing or collation). In these cases, use the PPD option to perform the
function, rather than setting it from the application. The application may not set up
the file properly for printing on the GA-1040 and may also take longer to process.
In addition, when you send more than one copy from an application, such as
Microsoft Word, you must uncheck the collate box from the General and application's
pop-up menu in the Print dialog box.
