Operating Instructions
Possible Cause
The cell phone does not support
the Bluetooth function.
A connection error has occurred.
The Bluetooth headset is not
registered to the handset.

The Bluetooth headset is out of
range of the handset.
The Bluetooth headset is too far
away from the handset.
Solution
Confirm that the cell phone
supports Bluetooth wireless
technology.
Confirm that the cell phone
supports the Object Push Profile
(OPP) or Phone Book Access
Profile (PBAP) specification.
If the cell phone is already
connected to another Bluetooth
device such as a Bluetooth
headset, turn it off or disconnect
it from the cell phone.
Turn the cell phone off, and then
turn it on and try again.
Register the Bluetooth headset to the
handset. For details, see "Registering
a Bluetooth Headset (Page 33)".
Turn the Bluetooth headset off, and
then turn it on and try again.
The Bluetooth headset can
communicate within a certain range
of the handset. The connection may
be subject to interference from
obstructions such as walls or
electronic devices. Move closer to the
