You selected a type of copy
paper that did not allow 2-
sided copy.
The upper limit number of
copies was exceeded.
Cause
The display brightness
knob is set to the darkest
position.
The machine is in Energy
Saver mode.
The operation switch is
turned off.
The main switch is turned
off.
Action
You can staple only forms of the same size. Select
forms of the same size.

Press the {Clear Modes/Energy Saver} key to can-
cel Energy Saver mode.
Press the {Clear Modes/Energy Saver} key to re-
set the display off state.
Turn on the main switch.
