o When the temperature of the zone falls below 60°C, then the
letter "H" will go out.
o IMPORTANT: The residual heat indicator will disappear if the
mains supply to the product is cut.
o IT IS STILL POSSIBLE TO BURN YOURSELF ON A HOB
ZONE,
EVEN
DROPPED BELOW 60°C.

Locking the hob top

o IMPORTANT: It is not possible to lock the hob top if any of the
cooking zones are in use. The following steps should be followed
as soon as the hob is switched on.
o Press the front right hob zone plus button and the minus button
simultaneously. Then release these two buttons and immediately
press the front right hob zone plus button again.
o An "L" will appear on all of the cooking zone indicators.
o If any of the zones are still above 60°C from earlier use then the
letter "L" will alternate with the letter "H".
o When the safety lock feature is activated, it will disable any of
the other buttons on the control panel, except the ON/OFF
button.
o If you switch off the appliance off whilst the safety lock is
activated, the next time you switch the hob on, the safety lock
will still be engaged.

Safety cut-off

o When the control panel detects an ambient temperature greater
than 95°C it will shut off all the cooking zones.
o A cooking zone that has been shut off by the thermal protection
can only be used again when the temperature drops below 95°C.
IMPORTANT: The hob will still be dangerously hot even
after it is usable again.
