Switching off the hob

o It is possible to turn the hob off at any time by pressing the
ON/OFF button (9).
o The hob will switch off automatically after 2 minutes, if none of
the zones are in use.

Residual heat indicator

o After a zone is switched off, the corresponding
cooking zone indicator (3) will show a flashing letter
"H". This means that the zone has not been switched
off for more than 35 minutes since last use. Therefore
it is more likely that the temperature of the zone is
still hot enough to cause
o After 35 minutes from the zone being switched off the letter "H"
will go out.
o IMPORTANT: The residual heat indicator will disappear if the
mains supply to the product is cut.
o IT IS STILL POSSIBLE TO BURN YOURSELF ON A HOB
ZONE,
EVEN
DROPPED BELOW 60°C.

Locking the hob top

o Once you have switched off all of the cooking
zones, you should turn off the hob.
o Press the ON/OFF button (9).

o The whole hob top can be locked by
pressing the safety lock button (1)
whilst the appliance is switched on.
o The timer display (6) will show "L0" to
indicate that the safety lock feature has
been activated.
