9. FIRMWERE UPDATE PROCEDURE

IPL FIRMWERE DOWNLOAD PROCEDURE

1) Make the Properties setting.
Download Type: Select "IPL FIRMWERE".
2) Click on the "Browse" button and select a CG file, "GENTxxxxIPLxxxxRxx.IPL" downloaded from
the INFONET Web.
3) Click on the "Flash Now" button, and download starts. Do not turn off the printer power until the
download finishes.

CONFIRMATION OF SETTING

1) After downloading the main firmware and ANK CG, the font size setting is added in the diagnostic
print. Please check the settings are as described below:
