The Camcorder : Functions
Manual Focus / Auto Focus (MF/AF)
✤ MF/AF mode only works in REC mode.
✤ In most situations, you will obtain the best results using AF (Auto Focus).
✤ Manual Focus may not be the optimum setting for everyday filming.
✤ Manual Focus allows the user to obtain clearer pictures under certain
conditions that make automatic focusing difficult and/or unreliable.
Auto Focusing
✤ In REC mode, the camcorder will be set to
Automatic Focus when the Camcorder is turned On.
Manual Focusing
✤ In the following cases, you may obtain better
results by adjusting the focus manually.
a. A picture containing several objects where some
objects are close to the camcorder and others
are farther away.
b. A person enveloped in fog or surrounded by
snow.
c. Very shiny or glossy surfaces like a car.
d. People or objects moving constantly or quickly
like at an athletic event or in a crowd.
1. Turn your camcorder on by setting the Power
Switch to REC mode.
2. Press the MF/AF button.

MF icon is displayed on the LCD screen.
3. Turn the Navigation Wheel to manually adjust the focus
until the subject is sharp. If you can't obtain clear focus
on the subject, try turning the Navigation Wheel in the
opposite direction.
4. To return to AF (Auto Focus), press the MF/AF button
again.
I
MF icon disappears and the camcorder returns to
Auto Focus mode.

✤ Manual Focus is not available in the EASYQ mode.
Videokamera: Funkce
Ruãní ostfiení / Automatické ostfiení (MF/AF)
✤ ReÏim MF/AF funguje pouze v reÏimu REC (Nahrávání).
✤ Ve vût‰inû situací získáte nejlep‰í v˘sledky pouÏitím moÏnosti AF
(Automatické ostfiení).
✤ Pro bûÏné filmování nemusí b˘t ruãní ostfiení vhodné.

Poznámka
✤ Ruãní ostfiení není dostupné v reÏimu EASYQ.
✤ Ruãní ostfiení umoÏÀuje snímat ãist‰í obraz v
urãit˘ch podmínkách, ve kter˘ch je automatické
ostfiení obtíÏné nebo nespolehlivé.
Automatické ostfiení
✤ V reÏimu REC (Nahrávání) je pfii zapnutí
videokamera nastavena na automatické ostfiení.
Ruãní ostfiení
✤ V následujících pfiípadech je moÏné získat lep‰í
v˘sledky ruãním nastavením zaostfiení.
a) Obraz obsahující více pfiedmûtÛ, kde nûkteré
objekty jsou blízko videokamery a nûkteré daleko.
b) Osoba zahalená mlhou nebo obklopená snûhem.
c) Velmi záfiivé nebo lesklé povrchy, napfiíklad
automobil.
d) Konstantnû nebo rychle se pohybující osoby nebo
pfiedmûty, napfiíklad sportovní události nebo dav
lidí.
1. Zapnûte videokameru nastavením hlavního
vypínaãe do reÏimu REC.
2. Stisknûte tlaãítko MF/AF.

Na monitoru LCD se zobrazí ikona MF
(Ruãní ostfiení).
3. Otáãením navigaãního koleãka nastavte ruãnû zaostfiení,
dokud nebude pfiedmût ostr˘. Pokud nelze nastavit jasné
zaostfiení pfiedmûtu, zkuste otáãet navigaãním koleãkem
na druhou stranu.
4. Pro návrat k reÏimu AF (Automatickému ostfiení) stisknûte
znovu tlaãítko MF/AF.
I
Ikona MF (Ruãní ostfiení) zmizí a videokamera se vrátí
do reÏimu s automatick˘m ostfiením.
