Setting the Exposure

I Exposure, shutter speed and ISO sensitivity affects picture brightness and
overall picture quality. Longer exposure, slower shutter speed and higher
ISO sensitivity brighten the picture. Adjustment of these settings is available
when you are using (PROGRAM), A, S, and M camera modes. You can
adjust the overall image brightness by adjusting the Exposure, Shutter
Speed and ISO settings.
I Overall brightness of a captured image may appear too dark if large parts of
the framed scene are very bright or the background is much brighter than
the main subject. Overall brightness of captured image may appear too
bright if large parts of the framed scene are dim or the background is much
darker than the main subject. Exposure compensation can be achieved by
adjusting the Exposure, Shutter Speed, or ISO settings.
I Turn on your camera by setting the Power Switch to

Locking the Auto Exposure: AE LOCK

✤ You can lock the exposure setting for situations where you
want to darken a high contrast subject and background. AE
LOCK works only in (PROGRAM) and SCENE modes.
1. Frame your subject using the LCD monitor, then press the
AE LOCK (DOWN) button.
2. Re-frame your subject if so desired.
3. Press the PHOTO button halfway down to enable the AE
LOCK obtaining clear focus on the subject.
I You may set the focus on a different subject.
4. Press the PHOTO button firmly to take a picture.

snímku. Úprava tûchto nastavení je moÏná, pokud pouÏíváte fotografické
reÏimy
závûrky a citlivosti ISO mÛÏete upravit celkov˘ jas snímku.
I Celkov˘ jas pofiízeného snímku se mÛÏe zdát pfiíli‰ tmav˘, pokud jsou
velké ãásti ohraniãené scény velmi svûtlé nebo pozadí je mnohem
svûtlej‰í neÏ hlavní objekt. Celkov˘ jas pofiízeného snímku se mÛÏe zdát
pfiíli‰ jasn˘, pokud jsou velké ãásti ohraniãené scény tmavé nebo pozadí
je mnohem tmav‰í neÏ hlavní objekt. Expozici lze vykompenzovat
pfiizpÛsobením hodnot expozice, ãasu závûrky nebo citlivosti ISO.
I Zapnûte fotoaparát nastavením hlavního vypínaãe do reÏimu
(CAMERA) mode.

Blokování automatické expozice: AE LOCK
✤ V situacích, kde chcete zatemnit velmi kontrastní pfiedmût a
pozadí, mÛÏete nastavení expozice zablokovat. Funkce AE
LOCK je k dispozici pouze v reÏimech
SCENE.
1. Umístûte objekt pomocí monitoru LCD do rámeãku a pak
stisknûte tlaãítko AE LOCK (DOWN).
2. V pfiípadû potfieby opravte umístûní objektu.
3. Poloviãním stisknutím tlaãítka PHOTO aktivujte funkci AE
LOCK, která umoÏní objekt dokonale zaostfiit.
I
MÛÏete zaostfiit jin˘ objekt.
4. Poloviãním stisknutím tlaãítka PHOTO sejmûte snímek.
Poznámka
✤ Ihned po pofiízení snímku se funkce AE LOCK automaticky
uvolní.
