MF/AF (Manual Focus/Auto Focus)

The MF/AF function works only in CAMERA mode.
In most situations, it is better to use the Automatic Focus feature,
as it enables you to concentrate on the creative side of your shooting.
Manual focusing may be necessary under certain conditions that
make automatic focusing inadequate.
Auto Focusing
The AF (Auto Focus) mode is set automatically when you switch
on the Power switch.
If you are inexperienced with camcorders, we recommend that
you use the Auto Focus mode.
Manual Focusing
In the following situations, you should obtain better results by
adjusting the focus manually.
a. A picture containing several objects, some close
to the camcorder, others further away.
b. A person enveloped in fog or surrounded by snow.
c. Very shiny or glossy surfaces like a car.
d. People or objects moving constantly or quickly
like an athlete or crowd.
1. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode.

2. Press the MF button.
3. Zoom in on the subject to be shot by pushing
the ZOOM tab to the "T" side.

Ru‹n' a automatickŽ zaostÞov‡n' (MF/AF)
Funkce je pfiístupná pouze v reÏimu CAMERA.
Ve vût‰inû situací je vhodnûj‰í pouÏít automatického zaostfiování,
abyste se mohli plnû soustfiedit na v˘tvarnou stránku svého natáãení.
Existují v‰ak situace (z nichÏ nûkteré jsou uvedeny na obrázcích),
kdy je lépe pouÏít ruãního zaostfiování.
Automatické zaostfiování
Automatické zaostfiování je nastaveno jiÏ v okamÏiku zapnutí
videokamery.
JestliÏe nemáte mnoho zku‰eností s filmováním, doporuãujeme
pouÏít automatického zaostfiování.
Ruãní zaostfiování
V následujících pfiípadech dává ruãní zaostfiování lep‰í v˘sledky.
a. Obraz je sestaven z nûkolika objektÛ, které jsou
umístûny v rÛzné vzdálenosti od objektivu.
b. Postava je v mlze nebo obklopená snûhem.
c. Filmujete lesklé a hladké povrchy (napfi. auto-
mobil).
d. Osoby nebo objekty, které se stále nebo rychle
pohybují.
1. Nastavte funkãní spínaã na reÏim CAMERA.

2. Stisknûte tlaãítko MF.
3. PfiibliÏte si objekt pomocí zoomu (T).
