Press 2. The unit will prompt "Time is off. Enter new day."

After hearing a long beep, enter the new day (Sunday = 1, Monday = 2, Tuesday = 3,
etc.). The unit will then prompt "Enter new time."

After hearing a long beep, enter the new hour (01-12).

After two beeps, enter the new minute (00-59).

After two beeps, press 1 for AM, or press 2 for PM. The unit will announce the new day
and time followed by a long beep and will prompt "Please enter next command."

Press the REMO button to exit the remote mode. Otherwise, the remote function will
turn off automatically if not in use for 8 seconds.
TONE / PULSE SETTING
Select the appropriate dialing service by moving the T / P (Tone / Pulse) switch on the
bottom of the base unit:
TONE for Tone service, or
PULSE for Rotary service.
SETTING THE HANDSET RINGER
The handset ringer must be set to ring ON position in order that it will ring when an incoming
call is received. See PROGRAMMING MODE section on.
SETTING USER'S AREA CODE AND NEIGHBORING AREA CODE
In order to use callback function, the user's area code and neighboring area code must be
programmed. Neighboring area code is optional. See PROGRAMMING MODE section.
SETTING THE CALLER ID CALL WAITING (CIDCW) FUNCTION
The CIDCW function must be set to ON position in order to use CIDCW function. See
PROGRAMMING MODE section.

TELEPHONE OPERATION

TO PLACE A CALL IN TALK MODE

Press the TALK button on the handset. The LCD Display will show "TALK" and the

symbol will flash while the unit auto-scans and will light steadily when it finds a clear
channel.
Listen for a dial tone.

Dial the telephone number. The phone numbers appear on the LCD Display as you

enter the number.
4.
When finished with your call, press the TALK button or place the handset on the base
unit.

TO PLACE A CALL IN STANDBY MODE (PREDIAL MODE)

1.
Ensure that the unit is in standby mode.
2.
Dial the telephone number or press RE/PA button. If you make a mistake, press VOL /
button to delete the character on the left of the cursor.
3.
Press C. BACK button.
4.
When finished with your call, press the TALK button or place the handset on the base
unit.

TO RECEIVE A CALL

NOTE: If you are expecting incoming calls, the handset must be programmed to RING ON
mode. See PROGRAMMING MODE section.
