5.2 Camera Connection

A. Basic Connection (Without PoE)
1) Connect supplied I/O cable to the camera.
2) Connect the power adapter from the camera to a power outlet.
Note: A DC12V 2A power adapter is required.
B. Power over Ethernet(PoE) Connection
The PZ-040D/E is High Power PoE compliant, so there are two options for
connecting the camera to a power and Ethernet source. The camera can
either be connected to a High PoE-enabled switch or a non-PoE switch
1) If using a High Power PoE-enabled switch
Use a single Ethernet cable to connect the camera to the High Power
PoE-enabled switch.
