Book → 2-sided (Making Two-sided Copies from Facing Pages in a Book in One Step)
This mode enables you to make two-sided copies from facing pages in a bound original,
such as a book or a magazine, in one step.
NOTICE:
❍ The following paper sizes and weight can be used in the Book → 2-sided mode:
- Paper size:
- Paper weight:
❍ Some modes may not be able to be used with Book → 2-sided.
MEMO:
Two-sided modes (excluding two-sided to one-sided) cannot be set when feeding paper from the stack
bypass. For details on how to make two-sided copies using the stack bypass, see Making two-sided copies
with the stack bypass (2ND SIDE OF 2-SIDED OUTPUT) p. 3-13.

facing pages and work your way backward.
Place your original with its face down so that its top edge rests against
the far side edge (from the control panel) of the platen glass.
