To remove the display panel:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Remove the rear cover (see

Remove the webcam (see

Remove the bottom stand (see

Remove the front bezel (see
6.
Remove the touch controller board as follows:
NOTE:
Replace the touch controller board that comes with the new display panel kit.
a.
Disconnect the four cables from the board (1).
NOTE:
To avoid damaging the connector when disconnecting the cable, be sure to pull the
cable straight out of the connector at a vertical (90°) angle.
b.
Remove the two black Torx screws (2) that secure the board to the computer.
c.
Remove the touch sensor board from the computer.
