SET MODE
D D AM antenna selection
This setting is activated only for the AM broadcast band,
0.495–1.620 MHz (differ according to version) reception.
• EXT : Use the antenna connected to the antenna con-
nector. (default)
• BAR : Use the internal bar antenna for AM broadcast
band reception.
External antenna
D D FM antenna selection
This setting is activated only for the FM broadcast band,
76.000–107.995 MHz (differ according to version), recep-
tion.
• EXT : Use the antenna connected to the antenna
connector. (default)
• EARPHONE: Use the connected earphone's cable as
the antenna for FM broadcast band recep-
tion.

D D Key lock effect
While the key lock function is ON, [VOLUME] and [SQL] can
still be accessed. Accessible keys can be set to one of 4
groups.
[POWER] and [•LOCK] are also accessible during the lock,
however, these keys are not effected by this setting.
• NORMAL : [VOLUME] and [SQL] are accessible.
• NO SQL : [SQL] is accessible.
• NO VOL : [VOLUME] are accessible.
• ALL : No accessible key is available, except
[POWER] and [• LOCK].
