6 6 Determine the image composition while looking into the LCD
monitor.
• There is a difference between the image range through the viewfinder and
the actual one in the close up mode. We recommend you to use the LCD
monitor when determining the image composition.
• We recommend you use a tripod or set the camera on a stable surface.
• The LCD monitor cannot be turned off in close up mode.
7 7 Press the shutter-release button part-way down.
• If the focus lamp (green) blinks, check that the subject is 4 to 40cm from the
camera. (The subject should not be more than 40cm from the camera).
8 8 Press the shutter-release button all-the–way down to take
the picture.
• Even after taking a picture, the close up mode is not cancelled. When the
camera is turned off and on again, the camera enters autofocus mode.
• When the camera enters the autofocus mode, the flash mode is returned to
"AUTOFLASH WITH RED-EYE REDUCTION".
