* The digital zoom function automatically switches to low resolution, 640 X 480 pixels. Therefore,
the recorded image is smaller when displaying it on your computer or printing out. Use this function
in exceptional cases or when you need low resolution photographs.
3 3 While looking into the LCD monitor, determine the image
composition so that the desired image is positioned within
the range of the indicator.
4 4 Press the shutter-release button part-way down.
5 5 Press the shutter-release button all-the–way down to take a

picture.
• The focus lock function can also be used (see page 37).
• Even after taking a picture the digital zoom is not cancelled. To cancel
digital zoom function, press and hold
