DIGITAL ZOOM

The digital zoom function can increase the maximum magnification (about 24 mm) of the optical zoom
lens (114 mm in the 35 mm film format equivalent) up to 2 times. This is used to make a picture
appear larger/closer-up than is possible through the maximum focal length of the zoom lens.
