TROUBLESHOOTING

If you have any trouble with this camera, check the following items. Should the difficulty persist, con-
tact the Medion Technical Support number.
Problem
The focus cannot be
adjusted in the autofo-
cus mode. The focus
lamp (green) blinks
quickly (about 8 times
in a second) when the
shutter-release button
is pressed part-way
down.
The shutter-release
button is not released.
Check
Did you attempt to adjust the focus
on the subject, which is difficult to
focus in the autofocus mode?
Did you attempt to take a picture
when the subject is closer than the
minimum focus distance (40 cm),
or farther than 40 cm in the close
up mode?
Is the power to the camera
turned off?
Is the camera set to another
mode except the recording
mode?
Is the focus lamp (green)
blinking slowly (about 2 times in
a second) and "Recording"
displayed on the LCD monitor?
Solution
Take a picture with the focus lock
function or in the manual focus
mode.
Take a picture when the subject is
farther than 40 cm, or when the
subject is within the distance from 4
cm to 40 cm (is not more than
40 cm from the camera) in the
close mode.
Rotate the function dial to
and slide the power switch to turn
on the camera.
The image is recorded in the CF
card. Wait until the recording is
completed and the focus lamp
(green) and "Recording" goes away.
