You are driving with the parking brake engaged.
Release the parking brake (

You have opened the driver's door while the exterior lighting
is still switched on.
Turn the exterior lamp switch to position $.

The door is opened while a gear is engaged with the drive sys-
tem running and neither the brake nor accelerator pedals are
depressed.
Close the driver's and passenger door.

Move the gear selector lever to park position P.

Switch off the drive system.

You open the driver's door with the key in starter switch posi-
tion 0 to remind you not to leave the key in the vehicle.
