■ Attachment

Attach the connector of the speaker-mcrophone nto the [SP MIC]
connector on the transcever and tghten the screw wth a con or
flat head screwdrver.
IMPORTANT: KEEP the [SP MIC] jack cover attached (trans-
cever) when the speaker-mcrophone s not n use. Water wll
not get nto the transcever even f the cover s not attached,
however, the termnals (pns) wll become rusty, or the trans-
cever wll functon abnormally f the connector gets wet.

SPEAKER-MICROPHONE

CAUTION:
multi connector snugly, but
do not overtighten.
A loose connection will al-
low water intrusion into the
connector; an overtight-
ened connector will dam-
age the connector pins in
the transceiver.
