PANEL DESCRIPTION

VOICE SCRAMBLER FUNCTION
Push to toggle the voce scrambler functon ON and OFF.
COMPANDER KEY
Push to toggle the compander functon ON and OFF.
The compander functon reduces nose components from the
transmttng audo to provde clear communcaton.
USER SET MODE KEY
➥ Push and hold to enter user set mode.
• Durng user set mode, push ths key to select an tem, and push
[CH Up]/[CH Down] to change the value or condton.
➥ Push and hold ths key agan to ext user set mode.
• User set mode s also avalable va the 'Power ON functon'.

DIGITAL KEY (BIIS operaton only)
➥ Push to select the call ID lst, transmt message and standby
condton. Toggles between queue channel and receved mes-
sage record ndcaton after queue channel s selected.
➥ Push and hold to select queue channel ndcaton.
STATUS UP/DOWN KEYS (BIIS operaton only)
➥ Whle n the standby condton, push to dsplay the transmt sta-
tus ndcaton and select a status number.
➥ When a receved SDM s dsplayed, push to cancel the auto-
matc scroll and scroll the message manually.
➥ When an SDM that contans more than 8 characters s ds-
played, push to scroll the message manually.
