■ Battery charging

Pror to usng the transcever for the frst tme, the battery pack
must be fully charged for optmum lfe and operaton.
CAUTION: To avod damage to the transcever, turn t OFF
whle chargng.
• Recommended temperature range for chargng:
BC-190/BC-119N/BC-121N : +10°C to +40°C
BC-152
The L-Ion battery
• Use the specfied chargers (BC-152, BC-190, BC-119N and BC-
121N). NEVER use another manufacturer's charger.
• Use the specfied AC adapter for each charger.
• NEVER use another manufacturer's AC adapter.
Recommendation:
Charge the suppled battery pack for a maxmum of up to
10 hours. L-Ion batteres are dfferent from N-Cd batteres n
that t s not necessary to completely charge and dscharge
them to prolong the battery lfe. Therefore, chargng the battery
n ntervals, and not for extended perods s recommended.
